Title: Bruiser Blacky
Post by: MuleySniper on June 16, 2008, 12:27:07 PM: This guy is most likely not around anymore, not killed by a hunter, but old age. My buddy's grandma would take pics of him each year. He basically lived in her backyard here in Gig Harbor. We have a few pics of him. What a stud.

Post by: MuleySniper on June 18, 2008, 12:54:03 PM: Ironically, Gig Harbor used to be known for some of the biggest and most concentrated areas for black bears too. Most likely not now though. Ive lived here my whole life and have seen some bears, including a 19 1/8" bear my dad killed here. Nowadays, any available piece of dirt has a house shoved on it.
