Title: Bruiser Blacky
Post by: MuleySniper on June 16, 2008, 12:27:07 PM
This guy is most likely not around anymore, not killed by a hunter, but old age.  My buddy's grandma would take pics of him each year. He basically lived in her backyard here in Gig Harbor. We have a few pics of him. What a stud.

Does he have some sort of non-typ growth that goes around his horn base and his ear and run down his nose on the left side?  He is a gorgeous buck for sure.

Here's a side pic. He's actually a 6x6 if you count the huge double eyegaurds.

Ironically, Gig Harbor used to be known for some of the biggest and most concentrated areas for black bears too. Most likely not now though.  Ive lived here my whole life and have seen some bears, including a 19 1/8" bear my dad killed here. Nowadays, any available piece of dirt has a house shoved on it.
