My wife saw an e-mail that I received this weekend and wanted to know what in the heck I was doing getting an e-mail about Strippers. I said honey look a little closer, it's Striper fishing. I booked a fishing trip on Cumberland Lake in KY for some big ol stripers. Can't wait to hook into a few of those tackle destroying fish!! I'll post some photos after the trip.

StriPers...awesome fish...
We used to fish them when they migrated up the Hudson River in upstate NY. Some of my best fishing memories. I got a 48# fish for my biggest. Caught it on a live herring about 10" long. My buddy got a 52# on the same bait. We used to night fish them off the bank with bait clicker reels...good times that I will never forget. Post some pics when you get back, Fred.

Weathergirl and I caught some off Cape Cod on our honeymoon, around 30#ers. They were a blast!
Also got into them on Lake Meade outside of Vegas in mid July. They were mostly around 24 inches but there were LOTS of them.
Remember to bring a pole for the strippers, I mean stripers.... :chuckle:
