Title: Not a bad first day
Post by: 2pt on August 01, 2011, 03:33:31 PM: So i didnt shoot a bear today but i did see a yearling that didnt give me a decent shot. I also saw a 2pt in the middle of the clear cut i was on and i got to watch him for a couple hours. walking in i saw 5 rabbit and 10 grouse which was cool it made me wish i had brought my .22 pistol instead of my.357!!! definitely a good way to start the season

Post by: 2pt on August 01, 2011, 10:20:33 PM: Yeah I meant to check my regs before I went out. Good thing I didn't have my .22! Has the small game always opened in September? I thought you used to be able to hunt a lot of the animals for longer than two months?
