Title: Serious Grouse Hunting

Our RGS chapter head recommended it so I thought it would be good reading to light a fire under my butt to do some scouting. I've only thumbed thru it a bit but it looks good so far. It appears to have more emphasis on hunting w/o dogs than other grouse books I've read.

Kinda pricey at 17 bucks but. It is the 1st edition from 1947. It is quoted extensively in the "Serious..." book.

Post by: bloodhound on August 08, 2011, 11:52:33 PM: i shoot grouse with my bow its good practice. i dont hunt them specifically but if i see one i will loose an arrow trying to kill it.
