so i have an Armi-Renato Gamba 12ga o/u and im in need of some parts, its originally out of italy and i wouldnt be surprised if no one here has heard of the maker. well after talking to coles gunsmithing i learned that this firearm was discontinued about 20 yrs ago and im pretty sure that armi-renato is out of business unlike their sister company Renato Gamba. yes i emailed Renato Gamba and apparently all of italy takes a month long vacation.
long story short after a bunch of phone calls i cannot track down the original importer in hopes they had a cache of spare parts or schematics so does anyone here know of a smith that works on higher end foreign shotguns (not trying to be a snob its just this shotgun is my baby and its also one of my tournament guns). so now im in need of a gunsmith that is good enough to fix this gun with out any blueprints or similar makes to go off of.

Where are you located?
Have you called Numrich Arms back east in NY? They've got parts for a lot of stuff...I mean a lot of stuff. egunparts.com or something like that.
My stepdad shoots shotguns a little. He uses a guy out of Tacoma, Mike Nelson.

You need a Ferlach Buchsemacher. I read an article of one residing on the east coast.

There's a place in Montana that does some work for him on his K guns. He's shooting Top Gun through the weekend so when he gets back in town I'll ask him for you who it is over there.

thanks for the info. im about 99% sure that the hammer springs are worn out.
had a local machinist turn some new firing pins for me (one of the original pins broke), i installed the new pins the gun will fire perfectly for about 5 or 6 shots and then the bottom barrel will not fire for about 3 shots then fire normally for another 5 or 6 and repeat the misfires.

Hammer springs are not too tough to come up with. If you hit a road block send me the wire dia, and coil dia and pitch as well as free length....I can likely spin some up for the cost of wire.
