Post by: Instinct on August 06, 2011, 04:56:29 PM
So theres wild strawberrys in the old cuts thats gorwing wth new growth trees, i only seen 1 old bear scat, no new and no tracks. Im hunting the ravens roust area in lil naches and talked to some dirt bikers who saw old scat off 1905. Am i wasteing my time should i even bother?

ive seen several bears in the little naches,  but none of them in the roust area. i would head  farther north to were the pavement ends, take the left and get as high as possible in your truck then hike to a good glassing spotwere you can look west into the wilderness area. there are lots of different roads up there that will get you in to some decent hunting if your willing to put the effort in,   good luck and let me know how it goes.

Head further up Hwy. 410 to the Hells Crossing area. Seen lots of bears there in the past.
