Got this bad boy at cabelas last week. Just put the bipod on today, figured id share it with you guys! Its a Savage axis .223 bolt action! with a 4x12 Accu-range Redfield scope. I love shooting this gun! excited to get out and start calling and shootin some yotes!

Start buying ammo, tons of it. Nice gun. Look for bulk ammo sales online. You don't need fancy $20 a box stuff for varmints. I use whatever is the cheapest and it does kill 'em.

Yeah i have been shooting cheaper ammo testing it out seeing what shoots the best.. i had a .223 handi rifle that i sold to a buddy last week and shot it alot but just wanted a bolt action. Ive only put about 60 rounds through this one so far.. hope to be able to start shooting it more!
