well remington has the answer the R-25...

comes in 243., 7mm-08, and 308. 20" barrel. i think that would be a cool little deer rifle

nope just one...but i want to be able to stop and cook some burger on the pack out :drool: makes life easy.

i just seen they weigh in at 8ish lbs. which is to heavy for my liking.

Post by: Head-shot on June 23, 2008, 08:23:01 PM: Yep,thats correct, I believe the cartridge length is longer on the .308 family, making the magazine bigger/longer front to back. So the mag well in an AR-15 is going to be too small.
