im worried about trimming in front of it making it stick out to a passer by

Grass is way longer than normal ... but cam is going in places where its not as long ...and making sure I get the grass in vicinity pulled up

use a board with a rope like your making crop circles and walk the grass down

The trick is to put the camera someplace where all the passer-bys walk on all fours (most of the time, anyway).

if possible trim it out but not all the way out so a passerby will only notice the tall grass, IE leave a fence line of tall grass :twocents:
