How many times a day do you think a bear poos? I went in yesterday and flattened, or covered every pile of bear poo I could find. Today I counted 26 fresh piles of poo in under four miles of rd. How many freekin bears are up here?
I've seen three now but all looked too little. I'm new to bear hunting and don't want my buddies razzing me if I shoot a small one so I'm being rather particular, maybe too much so.
I want something at least over 200 lbs but really want one over 250.
Thanks for any advice,
T6

Do ya really wanna see bear poo? :o

First off I would say you just never know ho many bears are coming and going. I've seen lots of poo in one area and know for a fact that there are four or five bears in an area.
Regarding your buddies giving you grief if you shoot a small one. I suppose they have all punched their tags on a a 300lb boar this year? Probably not. Until they go out and get it done tell 'em to shove it.

Yep, love seeing poo and debating about it. Here is some "berry poo" and some "cob poo"

Sled...I'd tell you but then I'd have to kill ya....kidding of course. Living in Lake Stevens just look for the little black ford ranger leaving once a week with cob trickling out the tail gate.

Most folk on here know some of what I've been up to. Somebody mentioned the baiting thing....I could have a bear in 20 minutes if we went that route.
