Title: Doesnt this picture of my big bull just get you amped for september to get here!

Elk hunting has quickly became my top choice for hunting as I just cant get over a screaming bull in your face at 20yards, snot dripping, pissing all over the place, cows chirping, satelite bulls going crazy in the back ground .......... Oh I cant wait for September!! Good luck to all you September bow hunters out there and the few that drew them coveted rifle rut hunt tags. Hope you guys call in many bulls and have a great time doing it. Here's to a great September rut hunt . good luck to all :brew:

Post by: bentley30-06 on August 13, 2011, 02:33:57 AM: Normally I am discouraged if I miss my opportunity at an animal or my only shot...but when it comes to hunting elk in the rut and you go through the whole experience of calling a raging bull into your lap...there is nothing like it. I have enjoyed some of my best hunts after missing my shot or messing up my opportunity. Elk fever will soon engage within us all! I have never been more prepared than this year and I hope I get to witness the entire rut behavior with my next bull and get the blood flowing!
