Title: Low V loads
Post by: CP on June 20, 2008, 05:08:34 PM
Anyone ever load down a 30-06 of other rifle round with Triple Seven?

A found this .30-06 recipe at the link below.

“For low velocity with grouse taking accuracy, go with 30-grains volume (not weight) Triple Seven FFg powder behind a 110-grain bullet.”

+1.  I dunno if I do that.  I think I'd just look into a cheap 22 pistol.
Sounds interesting though.  Article seems to dispell the concerns I'd have.
