That’s a replica of a Colt model 1862 pocket police .36cal.

Don't get discouraged. For me, on average, one of three stalks on a bedded buck in wide open country will result in a shot/dead deer. That means I fail over half of the time, which I bet is on par with most everybody. It's not easy.

For me, nothing is more tense than that last 30 or 40 yards until you are in range; taking one step or crawl, then stopping, setting your foot down ever so gently. Especially if the place you need to shoot from is only like 40 yards from the buck.

I shot him at 1:45 and we didn't get him out til 7:45. We had to bone him out. Thats what I get for sh The shot was 174 yard with 250 shoke waves and 120 gains powder out of a Knight bighorn.
