Doesn't this just make you want to run up to Alaska to hunt sheep?

Sheep Mtn of course(not even being a smart a$$), this side of Tok.

Yea, I can add a couple here just to get the thought process in full gear.... This year, I get to watch and maybe video tape my buddy going after them with a bow along the pipeline near Atigun Pass.... I think I posted this one before, I couldn't make a descion from 20 or so yards for certain he was legal, which I still don't believe he was... after twenty minutes he busted me for good. I have never been so close to breaking a Fish and Game rule...

Isn't Dall sheep supposed to be the most affordable sheep hunt??
-
I'm not sure affordable and sheep are two words that go together. Sure if you wee a resident I suppose.
-
Maybe replace the word "affordable" with "less expensive" :chuckle:
MS

Residents are covered by the $52 license, including everything but in some areas Brown Bear and Muskoxen.... Some open areas for general harvest/walk in, low success rates, but most good areas by draw... Fly outs to the Alaskan Range are normally around $1000-1500 for drop into a good area.. Brooks Range $1500-2000, depending upon where you go out of... Guided 7,000-15,000 range... :yike: Probably more now with gas the way it is... Draws are in the winter for Sheep and Goat.
