Kaie, My show dog won best opposite(means best Chessie female) at the Enumclaw Regional Chesapeake Specialty Show. There were 43 Chessies entered. She won over a bunch of Grand Champions and existing Champions. I was pretty proud of her....She loves the show princess stuff almost as much as packing in ducks and geese....

She's the sole pick up dog for two leases in the valley this year...I hope so..LOL....Pleasant Hill and the River Road Flats between Redmond Fall City are all hers.....She always spends two-three weeks in the Tri-Cities with my Brother-in-Law hunting geese on his buddy's property in Finley and my Uncles farm North of the airport in Pasco. She gets around a bit. She hunted about 3X more than me last year between my BIL and working the lease here in FC. Kaie also was pick up dog and bye-dog at the 2010 National Field Trial Specialty. She didn't compete- she's not a Field Trial competition quality dog but, she does what she does pretty well.....Not many Chessies can play field trial games.

At the risk of sounding ignerunt...what does this mean??? What's a pick up dog???

she gets to pick up all the ducks shot on the leased land......Friend takes his clients out to shoot ducks/geese, she gets to do the work.
