Coastal lingcod fishing area closure 

Action: Closes a portion of Marine Area 1 to lingcod fishing.

Effective Dates: 12:01 a.m. Aug. 27, 2011, until further notice.

Species affected: Lingcod.   

Location: That portion of Marine Area 1 from 46°N 38’10" to 46°N 28’00".   

Reason for Action: Reduce impacts to yelloweye and canary rockfish.
