word on the street is Todd Reichert won the E. Wa raffle tag. I hear he bought about 11K worth of tickets. I also heard that he is going DIY.
-
Which raffle tag?
-
I heard that he has the elk raffle tag.
-
Would be a nice tag to have, is this Todd Reichert someone that's well known/rich?
-
ya, he's bought the gov tag a few times too.
-
Ummmmmm He is a member on here.
-
Brad, or Rafflemule on here, has the e-wa elk raffle permit. Same guy that had the muley permit last year.
-
and I think he said he bought 4 :dunno:
-
maybe he got one of the multiple species tags.
-
The only other 2 I know of is the 3 deer permit, and then the south central deer, elk, sheep guy is on here...I think he goes by shootem or something like that.
-
Bone,
I rechecked the lottery results and I bought 10 tickets!
Reichart has some tag, he is in Dayton right now. Along with Doyle Moss......but I don't think they are together.
Meanwhile, I am sitting in my office waiting for Sunday (earliest I can get out). :bash:
-
I heard Team Mossback is in the Tucannon yesterday.

I hope they fail. Or maybe the BMM should contact Bigfoot to chase them away.

Now that is a good idea, we will see what we can do.

Is this Todd Reichert mentioned earlier the personal injury attorney from Seattle or is it a different Todd Reichert?
-
I wonder who is flipping the bill for team mossyback.
There are three tags right, GOVENORS, Eastern and the SE tag.
-
I guess there are the rifle rut tags as well.
-
There were definetly some unusual faces around Dayton today...and they sure were wearing alot of Sitka gear.
-
Someone explain team mossback :dunno:

From my understanding he won one of the multi specie tags that included an Eastern WA elk tag.. From what I understood he spent $2500 on tags? :dunno:
That came from someone who is with him down in the blues right now.

Neil, I think its Todd Reichert of Reichert Shake in Toledo. Also, doesn't he own his own ranch in the Dayton area?
-
Team mossback better not try to pull the crap in other states, They get in my way they will regret it
-
We have a client with an any weapon, any bull, any 300 unit tag. Gonna be an awsome hunt, going after a big one.
-
Im gonna help the eastside cental raffle winner , any 300 gmu from 9/1 12/31 , elk sheep , mule deer , This is gonna be a blast ! He's from the westside a good guy thats grounded and gonna take this whole experiance in !
-
Poor elk up there don't stand a chance. How the heck do they get permits to guide? I know its not all taking place on private.
-

They are known to block roads to keep people out of areas where they have clients. This is widely known in Utah. It seams most folks around here would just pull their Utah plated trucks right off the road.
-
man there sure are alot of haters in here????? one bad apples spoils the hole pot. i hope they shoot a pig up there and can't wait to see pics of what they get

that'd be fine, as long as they do it right. I imagine they're done already???
-
I hope they are done and gone.
-
So special permits are not a draw? Sounds like if you have enough money you can just buy them.

Wow! That's a great raffle. Good luck to the guy.

I hope they shoot a pig up there too. I hope they don't block the roads so other guys have access to the same areas and I hope they play by the rules. This is not Utah.

You can just buy them. They're called Auction permits. They happen every year.
-
I hope they play/played by the rules. If they don't, I hope they get prosecuted. I'm not prejudiced, that's how I feel about everyone out in my woods.
-
Knowing some of the people that I know that are down there hunting there right now, blocking a road might be the last thing those team mossback guys ever do. I hope they play by the same rules as the rest. Until that's proven untrue, I wish everybody hunting there the best of luck this year.

:chuckle:
I know there's at least one local out there right now with a bigazz bumper, a bigazz winch and a bigazz tow strap running around down there with his eyes open.
-
I just wish I could draw a tag. Good luck guys. Post some pics.
-
OK Josh i had to go get a picture of my bigazz bumper for you. That stinger out there will surely punch a good hole as it shoves their pickup over the bank!!!

-
Looks like that'd do the job there Dave...have at her!!
-
Must be more than one tag. I gave Brad some places to start looking at. In my book whoever gets it and how they got it s irrelevant. What matters to me is that they appreciate it and enjoy the whole experience, not just the RACK! Remember, it my chap your butt but there are several ways we help pay for wildlife management. Lot's of money thrown at tags is one. Like it or not it helps us all. Food for thought. Ya'll have a great season and I wissh you all great adventures!

 Just make sure you get it all on video that way you can post it on MonsterMuleys so them Utah boys know how to get it done!
Actually I have no problem with them coming up this way, as long as they play by the rules. If not someone needs to make them think twice about coming back! :twocents:
-
If you post it on Monstermuleys it will just get nuked.
-
Utards generally can't getting picked on very well. :cryriver:
-
I guess there are the rifle rut tags as well.
As well as the two east side elk incentive tags, basically the same as the auction and raffle tags.
-

Let me explain my stance on Team Mossback, I do not hate them. It is a free country and congrats to him for having the wisdom and drive to create the market he has. I am sure with what he charges he treats his clients excellent and they will never complain about the service he provides. I wish I could of had the brains to have that kind of demand on me.
Here is where I have the problem, I have read and heard it more than once that when they find a animal they want they go in there and basicacally quarentine the area for their client and sometimes not in appropriate manners.. If it is private land fine but I have a problem with it when it is on public land. I do not care who you are noone and I mean noone has the right to block off roads thinking they own the area.
Why are they coming here? did they kill all the bulls and bucks inUtah and Nevada?
Thats my :twocents:

I've hunted the Blues for the last 21 years on my 1000+ acres of private land. We've chased people off our property, been shot at and shot back, had to clear our trees cuz someone fell one across our private road behind them before they destoyed the gate (that was my favorite), replaced the gate cuz someone torch cut the hinges, cut the chains, cut the 12x12 post, and yes, "mistakenly" parked their truck in front of our gate wearing a ridiculously obvious sign stating this is a private rd, going to private land, managed by privately funded a$$hole$. Hew! So, I hope these guys don't find their way by me, as it wouldn't be the first time "Man, sorry buddy, someone must have" jerked some hunk a sh!t of my one lane private road and into the 30ft STEEEEP drop off the rocky side. I've never played "Cowboys n Mossbacks" before, sounds like fun. We'll be there Tuesday to the end of the season.
Other than that.....I like to think I'm a pretty nice guy, having taken a couple people from this forum to fill their drawn "Trophy tags" for our unit.
-
Always thought "Nothing a good log chain can't fix". :chuckle:
I probably wouldn't las tlong as a landownder down there(I'd kill someone). Try to pick up a pair of testicles to hang on your gate with a sign. This is what happened to the last trespasser. Its the small price he had to pay. :chuckle:
