Title: 6x6 got a free ride in a truck
Post by: str8meat on September 02, 2011, 06:48:51 AM: did anybody else see the bull getting dropped off at rays meats on south 3rd ave. 8-31-11 arounf 1:30 pm. just wondering how this is. bull was hardhorned and looked to be just shot once. the fellas arond the truck didnt appear to be indians. just wondering.

Post by: PlateauNDN on September 02, 2011, 08:51:56 AM: I live near that ray's meats and I don't hear or see anything plus I don't know any Indian that would go there when they can drop it off on the Rez at one of the local butchers for a lot cheaper and not pay tax. I guess it wouldn't hurt to ask the people there before anybody jumps to conclusions or maybe you could've stopped and asked to see the bull, I know I would've whipped around regardless of Indian or not just to congratulate the person and see the rack.

I have to agree with you PlateauNDN....theres several places it could have came from and if it was at a butchers shop off the res it most likely wasnt a native
