Title: whats the deal with 653 white water??

i was wondering if its possible to hunt white water 653 and why is it only marked special permit? do they make it ententionally this difficult to find a gmu with sufficient bulls to hunt on purpose.. whats the deal? :dunno:

There is no general season in the White River GMU, just as you saw in the regulations. But plenty of the other units around the White River unit are open. So no, it's not difficult to find an area to hunt. It's better the further south you go, or further east.

spent friday and saturday up off of fr. 75 and heard no buglin and seen no elk... anybody else do any damage?
