Well I shot one this morning from my treestand adout 7am. He walked down the same trail I come into my stand but he was very nervous coming into the wallow but finally gave me about an 18 yard shot. Hit him right where I was aiming and he didn't go far watched this one fall. Here's two pictures from my phone one of the arrow coming out and the other of the wallow from my treestand.

I don't like guys that do illegal *censored* to ruin my hunts either but if it is legal for them to ride motorcycles I don't understand why you feel the need to call them fat *censored*s :dunno:

Because they were rude, arrogant, a holes.
Just because your in an area that your allowed to use orv's in doesnt mean you should rip[ roar through @ 730 am past a guy thats flagging you down to stop because there are elk pushing in to his partner. it was a dead end spot and they were too lazy to walk in, then after they spooked everything for us they proceeded to walk in and ruin another guys hunt after we told them there was another guy in the timber about 200 yards in.. It was ok for them to be loud talking and and walking right in to him..
:bash:
anyways

Congratulations! That is sweet. I am stuck home until Sunday and then finally heading to elk camp. Expectations aren't high but this certainly makes one want to be optimistic. Do you have any better pictures of the spike?

We quartered it up then boned out the rib cage and neck then took 2 elk into Owens. A buddy in camp shot a cow yesterday morning also. It was quite a busy day packing out 2 elk. I will take another pic of the head and post it.
