Title: Archery Desert Unit?
Post by: hatchinet on September 08, 2011, 06:29:03 AM: Anyone draw the Desert unit for archery since they made it a later season hunt? Looking for suggestions on specific areas where I may start looking for a wall hanger if anyone's willing to give up that sort of info.

For archery, i'd go to the N. Potholes and scount the willow "forest" up there. Some of those trees are big enough to hang a stand. The deer love those spots. Also, south part of the Reservoir near the state park (off limits to hunting) is an area of high sage....they really like the high sage ; hint hint. :IBCOOL:
