Thanks again to all who PM'd me, Andy you should have come down.
Nice stalk through beautiful timber, textbook hunt, son in law pulled the bull in past me with a couple of cow calls and I double lunged him, my switchback had enough juice to break a rib, do a complete pass through and stick in a tree, 30yd shot.
Easy pack , great hunt great tag, hardly anyone hunting it and the bulls were just starting to get getting cranked up.
I hunted the state patch, well worth it.

Good thing you acted fast. Heard Weyco. Shut down last night. Did you get everything out in time, or are you trapped on that state block? There is not public access up there, its all at Weyco's Whim.

Congrats.

Very happy for you - excellent!

Is that land in the North part of the area. I have the tag and was supposed to going down on Sunday, but I don't know if I can get into the area we were going because of Fire danger.

Don't give up on the Toutle tag, find out if the state access corridor is open and go hunt it !

I can't believe you blew your Toutle tag on that tiny thing. And next time, could you shoot your bull in the road, that 250yd pack to the truck almost killed me. :chuckle:
