Title: East Okanagan - South Creek Wildlife Area/Charles and Mary Eder Unit
Post by: AlpineMuley on September 09, 2011, 03:13:20 PM
My buddy got drawn for the East Okanagan whitetail tag.  He put in for the free lottery tag to hunt the South Creek Wildlife Area/Charles and Mary Eder Unit and got drawn.  The unit consists of 6,000 acres and he will be one of five to hunt the area.  Does anyone have any information or tip about this area.

It's a good area with lots of whitetail deer, but finding a big buck in that area will be hard unless there is snow on the ground. If I were hunting it I would go for meat rather than trophy. We have permission to hunt some land that borders Eder's place and see alot of deer, but mostly small to medium bucks. Good luck
