of course losing the access to the area above the trestle didn't help, neither did the idiots at thurston county by making it illegal to park on the side of the highway in 2006 after more people started fishing there. i have a feeling it was the jerk who lives on the corner(one of the only houses along the river still standing after the '96 flood) whining to the county. he likes to claim the area in front of his house as his own personal snagging grounds, and will chase you off if you get too close. i'd say if he wants it for himself the local government should have not dumped rock in front of there after the big flood...

Nothing new on any river with a ton of fish running up it..I think its funny the way some people just have to catch fish :chuckle: Hell I watched Johnny Law write a dad a ticket on the Puyallup the other day for letting his son real in a couple of humpies,, while I was watching ( lets just say some doubtful Americans ) snagging, and keeping about 6 fish and not do a damn thing about it..Typical for this state..What was the violation in letting his kid real a couple fish in?

I think it was because the father put the fish on his kids card, and not his..You hook 'em, and let someone eles land and keep 'em you have to put them on your catch record..You hook it,,it's your fish.. B.S. is what I say..Johnny law should of had his ticket book tossed in the river..Wow. There's big game seasons going and a dad gets a ticket for letting his kid real in a greasy humpy and letting him mark it as his own. :bdid:

The ticket probably had more to do with were the hook was rather than who hooked and landed them.

The fish was hooked IN the mouth.. How do I know this for a factyou may ask?? I netted the fish for them.. Johnny law was just trying to prove his ass worth.. He was a PUNK..Should of had that ticket shoved up his#####

I do. Pinks are very eager biters. Put some effort into actually getting the fish to bite and you should have no problem. If they aren't biting you are using the wrong technique.

good point. Does it really matter how people catch fish when they are trying to catch some dinner, when you have the Indians raking in the salmon with their nets???
