Ok MuleySniper I put my FZ to use for you.
The day went like this: Moses Lake to Republic, Republic to Tonasket, Tonasket to Mazama, Mazama to Moses Lake. It was a long day at work (460 miles). Of cousre my lunch break and dinner break were spent fishing. I also saw a beautiful cinnamon bear that wouldnt stop for the camera. He was just past the Keller Ferry. We caught a few fish at Washburn just before dark. The one crappie was almost 14". Tons of bluegill.
Saw a few bucks. Pictures under another post.

Nice! Did your grandpa catch all those fish and let you take a picture with them? :chuckle:
-
just me or does that deer look behind the growth curve?
-
I can't tell you how many bears I've seen between Republic and the Keller ferry...some of the biggest bears I've ever seen - too bad it's the reservation. >:
I actually saw my biggest bear ever....right outside the res, just waddling across the road. Didn't have a care in the world and had all the cars stopped. It seemed like it took him 5 min to get out of the road. Of course, it wasn't hunting season.
Great area for bears.

You must be coming down with something LTL. Don't you recognize a suckling when you see one?

LTL, as the Nuge would say "Those are tender sweet succulent veil straps"

Great photo's! Thats a long haul in a day.

460 miles would definately cost a pretty penny on gas as well. nice pics thanks for sharing.

I was working so fortunate for me I dont have to worry about fuel. Majority of the pictures I take are right out the window. Love the lens on th FZ, keeps me from having to belly crawl and sneak to get shots from the road. I just plop the camera on my window mount and shoot away. Really glad I bought this camera.
