This thing is freeking amazing. Had a bunch of cabelas points and had been wanting one for some time. I bought a roll of cabelas bags they work great. You have to seal one end but only takes 3 seconds to seal and 9 seconds to evacuate.
I am impressed.

have you done any fish yet? can you do fish without having to wipe off the liquid all the time?

Not yet. Is that a problem with most vacuum sealers? I know some meats you need to freeze or have dry prior to sealing, but I have not tried any yet.
Will let you know.

To anyone that is looking for something else to spend their money on.
A bunch of Breakfast sausage. I certainly am not a commercial packer or a cabelas employee, but I give this sealer
A previous comment about fish. If you have a very oily cut of meat/fish or whatever. freeze it for a short time or the vaccuum will suck out the liquids into the seal.

I was just given one...I have not used it. But I am planing on using it for my smoked cheese and salmon....Good advice quadrafire.
