Title: Fire Closures
Post by: GregE on September 14, 2011, 01:39:53 PM: It appears most of the west side timber company lands are closed due to fire danger conditions. My planned areas are closed even for walk ins let alone bicycles.

Hope we get some rain but it doesn't look good before early archery closes.

Anybody got a work around area for a couple 65+ bowhunters?

Post by: bobcat on September 14, 2011, 03:47:24 PM: I posted this in a couple other threads already, but Weyerhaeuser land in the Pe Ell area is open. I just called the access hotline, and they did say the fire danger was high, and to be careful, but nothing was said about it being closed.

Post by: bobcat on September 14, 2011, 05:27:11 PM: The message was dated September 9th, same as the others. Sounds like all other areas are closed. I listened to St Helens, Vail, and "Coastal" and those were all closed to ALL access.
