Title: 2011 High Buck Hunt
Post by: Timber_Hunter on September 20, 2011, 08:54:19 PM: Got this guy first thing in the morning on the second day of our hunt. He was bedded with 3 other bucks down out of the wind. My dad spotted the bucks, we picked out the one we wanted and the work began. Thanks dad for spotting him and helping pack!

Post by: Timber_Hunter on September 21, 2011, 09:38:46 AM: Thanks Everyone! It was a great hunt and ended up seeing 7 different bucks and one giant 4 point but could not close the distance on him. I am not going to get him mounted, but I will put the antlers on a plaque. It is very steep country and we wear crampons on our boots to help with traction. We are in a couple hours to where we camp. All in all I am very happy and ready for Montana in November!
