Title: advice for pics at a "night glow" balloning event

Going down to prosser for the balloning night glow on Sat. night.
 Do you photog experts have any advice for me ........

I have an canon rebel TXI...with standard lens....28-85 or something like that.  I'm bringing my tripod.
