Title: JUST A LITTLE OVER GUNNED TODAY .....OUCH !!!
Post by: BOWHUNTER45 on September 22, 2011, 05:54:31 PM: well the farmer just cut his field a few days ago So I figured I would put the 300 WSM to work ...just wanted to see what it does at longer distances... he was out there far enough to where I needed to hold a hair high so I layed the crosshairs right on the top of the back of his head and squeezed ... WHOP ! I walk over to him and this is the result ....OUCH !!! :yeah:

Post by: BOWHUNTER45 on September 23, 2011, 07:29:10 AM: I had a friend who passed away a couple years ago and he used to go to Montana every year to shoot prairei dogs and he always used a 300 mag loaded lightly and he loved it for reaching way out there...plus he had a bunch of other guns with him too ...like a .243 25-06 and a 22-250 he was a varmit huntin SOB ... Miss the old fart :yeah:
