well the farmer just cut his field a few days ago So I figured I would put the 300 WSM to work ...just wanted to see what it does at longer distances... he was out there far enough to where I needed to hold a hair high so I layed the crosshairs right on the top of the back of his head and squeezed ... WHOP ! I walk over to him and this is the result ....OUCH !!! :yeah:
-
:dunno:

LOL... pretty much what happened last year to the yote I shot while bear hunting with my 300 Weatherby Mag.... and I shot it in the shoulder, uphill... Yep other shoulder and back just disappeared.

impressive
-
if they nuke it thats fine because it is a little extreme but reality of what a bigger gun will do to a smaller opponant :o
-
Byron south says you can't be under gunned for coyotes. I have to agree
-
At least it didn't suffer, that's about all I can say! Nothing wrong with a result like that.
-
Reminds me of when I take the 338win out. Nasty but very effective and even a bad shot dumps them, the yote I shot with the 95gr bt out of the 243 was nasty too.
-
I had a friend who passed away a couple years ago and he used to go to Montana every year to shoot prairei dogs and he always used a 300 mag loaded lightly and he loved it for reaching way out there...plus he had a bunch of other guns with him too ...like a .243 25-06 and a 22-250 he was a varmit huntin SOB ... Miss the old fart :yeah:
-
reminds me of the youtube video , where a guy shoots a coyote with a .50cal
:mgun:
-
Nice shot!
-
Well there is no such thing as a coyote that got too dead when shot.
-
nice shot .dosent look like he will be hawllling tonight.
-
my pappy would have called that a zipperhead.
-
yeah I will stick with my .223 when the fun begins :chuckle: :chuckle:
-
Nice!
-
Clean quick kill! Ohh, maybe not so clean but quick! I LOVE IT!!!!!!!! AWESOME!
-
Wow! :puke: That is grizzly! But the animal obviously didn't suffer. Nice shooting.
-
My son shot a yote with his new 338 RUM with a 250 grain matchking. I will leave that to your imagination.

At least it didn't suffer, that's about all I can say! Nothing wrong with a result like that.
:yeah: I agree. Nice shooting.
