My buddy had 4 stands spread out in about a 7 sq mile area. The stand I was on had no activity for days, so I just pissed real close to the shooting lane a couple of times one day. I'll be damned if we did not start having activity! Scratching, nosing around etc. About three days after the peeing I got a small buck!!!
I am not saying it works but apparently it did not scare them either.

It was really small and it was the first animal with my new rifle. I figured for it to be that dumb it needed to be taken out of the gene pool.

If they are in a stand with you, BEWARE, so will be the bear.

I advise not to tell them why you are taking them.
