so my friend got drawn for a black powder cow tag and neither of us have hunted big game before. what are some helpful thing to have in our packs? i know some good glass and camo and knives are helpful but what else makes things easier? any tips at all for a couple first timers? well be mainly spot and stalk hunting in eastern wa. we got a few days to scout ahead of time and then most of the opening week.

A good saw is a huge help, if you don't know how to take a elk apart at the joints. Rope is also very handy and meat sacks!!!!
