Title: Special Permitt
Post by: gallion_t on September 27, 2011, 03:34:33 PM
I have a second tag antlerless for modern firearm this year and am wondering if i could harvest an animal using archery or muzzle loader during that season. I know during regular season that is completely legal, but does that carry over to special permits. The regs say i have to hunt with the method i was drawn for. Under the legal weapons for Modern firearms it list centerfire rifle, handgun, shotgun, and cross bow as the weapons. The way that sounds to me is i CANNOT hunt using archery or muzzleloader. Am i understanding this correctly?

Yes you can use a muzzleloader or archery during your modern firearm season. Doesn't matter if it's a permit only hunt.
