Title: Ebby Island

Really? ..and I thought I was going to have it to myself.. I know it's going to be crowded, but it's not gonna stop me from taking my dog out for a little "hunting" close to home. I plan to hit it during the week.

And yes weekends are crowded, so week days can be good too, still birds around just a little more educated and more of a challenge to hunt, almost like hunting wild pheasants :tup:
Anyone know how many acres the Ebby site is?

Its really close to home for me too!! Will be hitting it on my way home from work, put the dog in the back in his kennel in the morning, stop on the way home!

Post by: ORCA_SIX on October 01, 2011, 07:24:05 PM: Went out at 1230 today and picked up two roosters at Ebey. Not as much water as I thought there would be out there. Heading to Cherry Creek tomorrow and Chukar/Quail over on the eastside Monday.

Post by: 87Ford on October 05, 2011, 06:31:05 PM: I was there today also and didn't fire a shot. I believe they release birds on Tues, Fri and Sat evenings for hunting on Weds, Sat and Sun. Didn't seem to me that they released very many last night. Lots of guys with nothing today. I was there yesterday too around noon and there was no one there. So, busy days are Wed, Sat and Sun.

Post by: NW-GSP on October 05, 2011, 07:23:23 PM: I hunted the ebey island release site allot during the week last year and never had to deal with many other guys there, not the same as the east side but its fun and I don't get allot of chances to head east
