I'am moving to wenatchee and wondering if there is any place to bass fish, besides the rock island ponds.
thanks

the manson area lakes hold some pretty decent sized bass, roses and wapato. never fished dry lake but theres always guys in there chucking plugs and ive never caught a single fish out of antillion so theres no fish in that lake :chuckle:
ive been told that the columbia has some good bass fishing but ive never tried it
the lower end of lake chelan seems to becoming a good bass fishery, ive caught a few small mouth out of there nothing big but i dont really bass fish, and the chelan falls area of the columbia holds a decent number of bass as well.
banks is only 90mins away but im not sure how bad the 30 foot drop in the water column hurt that fishery, im sure it was pretty bad
im not a bass angler but these are the places for bass i know other than the rock island ponds, hopefully a bass angler will chime in with some more detailed info

Rocks Island ponds of course.
The lakes up by the three lakes golf course, although most access is private.
Theres very limited fishing in the Columbia, it's a tough stretch to learn. Best bet is at Daroga Park or Crescent bar.
I hear Chelan falls has some smallies in it. Lower end of Lake Chelan is good. Wapato and Roses up there hold Largemouth, but get pressure. Antilon has Crappie and Browns.
Go east and the Quincy Lakes have Bass. Evergreen Res. H-Lake, and Stan Coffin all have Largemouth.
Moses is hot for smallies and largies, my favorite lake to bass fish in the basin. Potholes has both as well. Both the Frenchman and Winchester wasteways have bass in them. Most of the little ponds around the wasteways do too. Banks is another good spot.
The Okanogan river is good as well as that stretch of the Columbia. Go south and there bass below Wanapum a bit more common, especially along the Vernita and Hanford stretch.
