Title: Best Deer Block?
Post by: Clinton on October 09, 2011, 03:43:09 PM: I have begun some deer salt lick areas, but it is my understanding that the deer mainly come to these in the spring and early summer. I want to keep them coming in, so I need to add a deer feed block of some sort. I find that corn brings in bears, so I do not want to use that. Moreover, the areas are some distance away, so I cannot really stock the sites with apples. Does anyone have any recommendations for or experience with deer feed blocks? Thanks.

That be it. Had to ask my wife, she's the one who told me about it. She doesn't even hunt. I used one last year and the deer loved it.
