Don't know if many people know about this, but I found out last night by accident. The new Badlands 2200 come with a rifle boot that enables you to carry you rifle on the pack. In the past I have used the tripod carrier on the left side under the "batwing". I called this morning and asked them about it and they said it attaches to the clips on the bottom. I asked them about a retrofit to mine, and I was floored by his response. Sure no problem, verify the male clip style, gave them my name and address, and that's it! NO CHARGE! Wholly Crap, talk about customer service, I am stoked :IBCOOL:

Good to hear. I have a 2800 that needs to go back. It is starting to tear. I think it was overloaded a few times. :chuckle: hope they take care of it.
-
Ya I have a monstwe fanny as well as the super day pack. both have some broken clips that I haven't got around to fixing. glad to here the service is Good
-
I've heard they're really good about service. Packed out way too much meat in/on my Ultraday this year. No problems yet. This is the third season of abuse and every stitch/zipper/buckle is still doing fine.

I broke a clip on my 4500 and I emailed them, they sent me about 50 clips in all different sizes and colors and didn't charge a penny.
-
I broke off two more ziper handles on my pack this past deer season. I have string loops through most of the zipper heads at this current time. A minor design flaw.
-
there customer service is second to none! I've never had to send any of mine back but my dad had mice chew his straps and sent his back. They sent him a repaired pack that initially had more damage than his. He called and let them know and now he has 2 2800's, at no charge.

Never had to use customer service on my pack in 8 years of abuse..its not a badlands..neither will I ever own a badlands overpriced cheap pack.. not durable at all!

Customer service rocks, they sent me two new buckles no questions ask, free of charge. My only issue is the pack does not fit my torso very well. It seems it was designed for someone larger then myself. The hip belt rides too low and i have been unable to adjust it so it will ride on my hips. I fits lower on my waist which sucks when packing a heavey load. I have the 2200 and may be selling it after the season.

DeerHarvester, go to their website and read how to adjust it. Not doubting you, but I found that I was not doing it correct and now my 2200 fits better than before. Once I put it on and adjusted the straps in the right order it made a world of difference in fit and comfort. Just saying.

Let me know if you decide to get rid of it.. :dunno:

I will check there website and see if I'm doing something wrong.

I will let you know if I'm going to sell it when I get back from my late hunt. It's an awesome pack, the hip belt just seems to ride low on me. Im only 5'7 which may be the reason. I have only used the pack on two trips. Bought it new in August, I will PM you this weekend or next week. Also it was missing two buckles when I bought it, thus the reason I ordered new ones.

WOAH :o! I have had this pack for over 2 years and I have never noticed the rifle boot. Always, packed my rifle in the tripod holder. Thanks for posting.

Ive beat my 2200 just like all of my gear and its still like new. Ive done 3 night trips in it and it worked good. Packed out an entire deer with it and it worked great. No complaints from me
