Title: which trail cam?
Post by: rgalanti21 on October 16, 2011, 10:18:47 AM
I'm at the point in the hunting career when I need to get a trail cam. Any that you would reccommend? I'm shooting in the dark on my knowledge of trail cans, but know I need one to scout better. Thanks!

If you want recommendations you almost need to say how much you're willing to spend. And how many do you want? I guarantee you'll soon find out that one isn't nearly enough.

Im thinking in the range of 100-150, and I'm planning on starting out with two.

I have two, one is a sniper.  Just bought the Delta 8 a little while ago. Cabelela's had it on sale for 119.00. Here's a couple of  pic with the sniper.  Night an day.

For $150 a piece. I'd probably buy the 5mp bushnell trophy. Can't beat the battery life on those things. Nothing worse than checking your camera and finding the batteries have been dead for awhile.  Well besides it being gone when you get there.... They are smaller than most cameras and using AA batteries is nice. Look online. Some good deals to be had.
