Title: How old?
Post by: smitty8202 on October 16, 2011, 03:33:35 PM
So today was my opening day since i had to work yesterday. Found these 3 rubs along the road not more than 10 feet from the road. They look pretty fresh to me the bark was piled up at the base of the trees. How old do you guys think they are?

Very, very fresh. I can still see the bark, in the first photo, on the salal brush. Any rain or significant wind and it would be gone. I would say it happened in the last 24 hours.

I seen a hooked up tree last year that was brand new fresh and the following day the orange look had already turned brown.
