I her from a friend that the reason for closing the roads in the unit wasn't just for the washouts of the roads. He said there was trible members from the Muckleshoot tribe that went in there and shot over 150 deer last year. And the deer numbers are very low. They are going to keep it closed until the deer numbers improve. Not sure if the info was real or not. Just thought I would see if anyone else herd anything about it??? :dunno:

Just a rumor.
All statement are tru but have nothing to do with each other.
Roads will be fixed starting next summer.
Deer numbers are down (so they say), and the the Mucks. did take 150 deer in teh Yakima area, not just little Naches.
