I have spent the last 4 mornings hitting the alder cut off side of Pack Forest and I have seen 8 does and fawns, 1 spike buck, a 5x7 bull, 4 cows, and a bear cub.Haven't seen much of any fresh sign and wondering if all the 2+ point bucks have all disappeared. Think I am gonna hit the the La Grande side tomorrow just wondering if anybody has tagged or even seen any legal bucks in there since the rifle season started.

Anybody hear of anything coming out of Pack Forest this year?
-
Maybe I just need to cross the river and hit Skookumchuck tomorrow

PM sent to you for a question.

2 more days through the Pack and it is starting to seem like not many deer left in there. Have seen a few more and 2 legal bucks but still not seeing much sign.Wonder if UW is doing some deer begone experiments.

I only have one more morning to hunt before I have to get back to the work thing and after 2 more mornings in the Pack and still not seeing much for deer think I need to find a new place for my last hunt in October.

Hey WORM how would I get to the gate for Pack Forest from Yelm? Is that the gate by Elbe at the railroad tracks? Is there any drivein areas open? Clear Cuts??

You would take 702 to mt highway and then take a right... you'll start seeing the yellow and purple gates.
