Post by: martin1 on October 21, 2011, 07:41:59 AM: a buddy and i were looking over a wheat feild and somebody acrossed the feild shot so we got up and left. we walked through a bowl in a ridge top and be both said this would be a good spot for a good deer to get up. walked another 10 steps and that buck jumped up and trotted away. went to shoot when he was going away and the gun went click. :yike: then got a shell in a touched one off as he was going away and missed. :yike: then ran up the hill to get above him and thought i would see him running acrossed the stubble feild. turns out he ran another 50 yards and laid down in a patch of brush and i caught him in his bed where i was able to connect with my biggest buck :)
