Title: N.E. huntable waters
Post by: Grizzly95 on October 23, 2011, 06:54:21 PM
Like posted in other threads, I am quite the novice bill hunter and am curious what bodies of water are good ( legal) to hunt around Spokane  Newport  Deer Park  areas?

long lake...just stay clear of houses and you may have to hunt from your boat....uh, the Pend Oreille river can be good  from what I hear...  um... Some people hunt Eloika lake but I have no idea where they set up ...probably at the ends of the lake....    other than that  I don't really know... wheat fields if you can get permission, good luck :)

long lake- i've heard people having good success around the tum tum area.

Eloika lake- use to hunt the south end and set up in the cattails on the west side. Guy I know hunt's the north end and seems to do pretty good.

Pend orielle river-guy i hunt with has a cabin on the river so we always launch from his cabin. Find a slough or island to set up on. Lots of hi flyers here tho.
