No need to lie, I used to let deer tags go to waste. Go out a couple times during the season and beat some brush. Thinking maybe I would get lucky and stir up some movement. Those times are no more, over the last few seasons I have really fell in love with deer hunting. Something about it just gets me going and anxious to punch the time clock and head to the woods. Here is the problem, I have no idea what the hell I'm doing. I'm looking for some good insider info on what would be some good calls or rattles for a some what new deer hunter and novice call user. Sure I can bugle in a bull all day long, but a blacktail I have no clue what to do. Do I sit and wait, kick around all day in the brush, a little of both. What am I looking for to know if it is going to be a good area to find deer....I have read and read and read online but none of it really relates to the type of area I have around me to hunt. Thanks in advance for the help guys.
