Title: Bushnell legend HD @ Cabelas misleading?????
Post by: GEARHEAD on October 24, 2011, 11:07:51 AM
well i was looking thru all the binos i can looking for a good 8x42 for bow hunting, anyways, i finally found what appeared to be the best f.o.v. out there the legend hd, and it was on sale too. cabelas claimed it had a f.o.v. of about 406 ft at 1000, in further research on bushnells own site, this bino has an f.o.v of only 314 at 1000.  :bash: well hell, now it may be off my list, wondering if cabelas is purposfully exagerating the f.o.v. to sell more of this product, over others.

Actually, if you are talking about the Bushnell Legend Ultra HD, the 8x42 fov is 420'.  The original Bushnell Legend had a 314' fov @ 10x43 and 330 @ 8x42.  So it kind of depends which Legend you mean.  Bushnell is somewhat infamous for getting stuff on their own site screwed up.  Seems like getting straight info out on your own site would be a pretty high priority.
