Was wondering if you can chukar hunt all the little roads off of satus pass once you go over the grade outta toppenish. Looks like good land

On a side note, we shot a couple roosters out there today

Always thought that was like a closed area

The Yamaka's website has maps of where you can upland hunt with one of their licenses...Don't have a link off hand, but I know the maps are there or they used to be there.

Hate to tell you but that is a big no no up there unless you are a enrolled member, what are you doing hunting the rez if you dont even know what areas you can hunt?

Was just asking a simple question! I have the "feel free to hunt" maps but that didnt answer my question. I was almost certain you cant hunt up there but was just making sure. :bash:

Bang your head against a wall as much as you like :bash: But i doudt you would hunt a GMU with out knowing the boundaries to that unit so have the same ethic were ever you hunt...Thats all i am getting at.

I know you can hunt with a rez permit on toppenish ridge . That is the ridge between toppenish creek and tule road. I dont know how far west you can hunt though. You can hunt farther south but I haven't looked at a map for a few years. We used to hunt the breaks on satus creek as well. I assume that is still open but a quick call to wild life would tell you for sure...
