Can someone with lots of Bobcat hunting experience what's the best time of day to call Bobcats ?
-
well i dont have much experience calling cats, but i would assume they are like coyotes or most other nocturnal predators, of course first thing in the morning and right before dark is a great time to hunt but i have had great luck calling in coyotes around noon to about 2, im sure bobcats have to come out of hiding to pee and what not and try to find a snack in the middle of the day like anything else

I am no expert but I have called them at all times. Most times when I go out I try to call coyotes in the morning and evening and spend the rest of the day calling cats. I think if you are close enough to the cat it will come even if you wake it up.
I called this one in at 1:30pm

It is just called rodent squeaks.
