Title: FATHEADS FIRST BEAR
Post by: jackmaster on October 28, 2011, 12:30:04 PM: my son dakota, aka, little fathead, kota bear, little chief, has been wanting to shoot a bear, it isnt much of a great hunt but we came home to find this bear down by are swamp, he ran off into the bushes and after sittn patiently for 3 hours at about 5pm this bear came creepn back out and little fatman put him on the deck.

Post by: jackmaster on October 28, 2011, 03:59:17 PM: thank you dirty24d for getn those pictures up, and yes dakota was s happy man, he still had the shaky legs for atleast 15 minutes after he shot it, within 20 minutes he had called all his buddies and before i knew it are garage was full of people, :chuckle:, i still remember how pumped i was when i got my first bear, but i was more excited for him thats for sure, it is somethn watchn a greeny getn their first animal, i think i like that more than shootn one myself, i can tell you this though after he shot the bear i quickly rememberd what a job it is to take care of one its like handling a 300lb bowl of jello..... i do want to say to my boy, great job chief, way to anchor him first shot, people dont realize how tough bears are...

Post by: jackmaster on October 28, 2011, 04:08:07 PM: i will tell you what dirty24d if they ever bring back baiting i will hook you up, its funny i knew alot of people that baited and had a pretty hard time, but i learned from dad and we got it down to science :chuckle:, oh and we get one walkn around are yard again you will be the first one i get ahold of, its the least i could do for you saving me the stress and time on trying to get them pictures up, the computer had no clue how close it was from flyn through the window :chuckle:

Right on! Ya computers dont fly well and land even worse.. I've got bears crawling over the hillside i live on i just can never seal the deal.. I'm gonna turn up the heat though for the last few weeks. Congrats again to your boy!
