Title: Muzzleloader Elk in Stella
Post by: mrwigelow on October 29, 2011, 10:07:16 PM: Any good tips on a good camp spot in the Stella unit for late muzzleloader. My group is about 8 fellas large. We were hunting the Trout Lake area, but they made it a 3 point or better area! We are hoping to hunt out of camp or make short access drives. Thanks! Hoping to take a quick scouting trip later this week.

Post by: jbeaumont21 on October 29, 2011, 10:27:46 PM: There's a good campground on the Columbia River that's a little west of the turn off to Germany Creek which gives you good access to the Stella Unit. Otherwise there is lots of DNR land around that you can camp on. The number of post you have doesn't matter to me. Good luck, hope you and your group have a good hunt.
