just got it in the email when I came in to grab lunch really fast. I really dont like the loaded answers.
Which option would you prefer for addressing the issue of increasing spring bear harvest in northeastern washington.
No change
Increase spring bear permits from 145 to 225 and change the fall season from September 1-November 15 to September 1-September 30
No opinion
I want more spring bear permits, but dont want the season shortened :bash:

Yep, I put NO change, I have an opinion, but don't like ANY of the options. >:(
-
Can you write in that you want increased spring permits and retention of the current fall season?
-
ya its ridiculous they want to reduce the season by a month and a half if they up the permit quantity.

went for no change, I want more spring bear permits but no shorter season...

Honestly these loaded questions need to be addressed with the commission.

Not much of an option on that poll. I do like that they are starting to require wild id #s but wish there was a place for additional comments or an "other" option.
Personally, if the harvest is that far below objective I would like to see a general spring season in that area and do away with the special permits. Not likely for that to ever happen though.

the spring permit quotas in NE WA are a joke! some of the highest black bear concentrations in the lower 48,but we will give out 15 tags in this unit and 10 here etc :bash:
